Developmental eye disease

  • Focused on developmental eye disease, particularly amblyopia.
  • Diseases causing amblyopia: strabismus (infantile esotropia) and refractive error
  • Refractive plasticity, control of eye growth and pathogenesis of refractive error
  • Corneal biomechanics, astigmatism

Methodology

  • Transgenic mice, retinal immunocytochemistry
  • Eye movement recording (infrared digital video system)
  • Visual acuity, stereoacuity, videokeratography, aberrometry

Scientific Cooperations
