Research group of Prof. Dr. Stephan Neuhauss in Zurich, Switzerland.
Dr. Heuhauss and his group are interested in the development and the function of the zebrafish visual system. They use the superb genetics and benefit from the cone dominance of the zebrafish larvae. In this model system they can go full circle starting from gene manipulations, via pharmacological manipulations to histological and behavioural assessments of visual performance.
