Scientifc Interest

My main scientific interests are retinal/brain vascular biology and RPE cell biology. The role of the blood-retina barrier plays in recruiting immune cells, the factors controlling vascular pathology, and the role of RPE cells in retinal degeneration constitute the principle focus of my research activity.
