13th International Myopia Conference 2010

As with previous conferences in this series, the 13th International Myopia Conference will serve as a platform for research scientists and eyecare professionals to present the latest findings in myopia research.

Topics include the biological mechanisms of myopia development as discovered in animal and human work, potential optical, pharmacological and behavioral interventions to decrease the progression of myopia, ocular morbidity associated with myopia, the genetics of myopia, optics of myopia, including refractive correction designs and paradigms and epidemiology. We hope to address commonly asked questions about myopia, consolidate the evidence for successful public health and vision screening programs, and develop new strategies to prevent myopia.
