AG Neuroprotection

Our group performs preclinical research on retinal and optic nerve-related neuroprotection. Our methods comprise: cell culture, organ culture, histology, immunohistochemistry, PCR, Western blotting, EMSA, ERG, VEP etc.

We have animal models for acute retinal and optic nerve lesions as well as glaucoma. Currently we are focussed on epigenetic approaches and cooperate with various other institutions.
