3D Lab (Development, Differentiation and Degeneration)

The aim of our research is to answer basic biological questions, as well as to advance in translational aspects, in order to understand the physiological mechanisms of cellular proliferation, differentiation and cell death, in embryonic development, and its abnormal regulation in pathological situations, which we study in different models of nervous system degeneration.

Methodology

  • Mouse models,
  • chick embryo,
  • organotypic cultures,
  • confocal microscopy,
  • flow cytometry,
  • proteomics.
