The survey was carried out in April and May 2013 and covers the 27 EU Member States and Croatia, which joined the EU in July 2013. The survey shows that 77 per cent of EU citizens think that science and technology have a positive impact on society. Interestingly, however, only 40 per cent of respondents say they feel informed about developments in science and technology.
