ELIXIR is a major new European infrastructure project that will integrate and provide universal access to biological research data from across Europe, and is one of 35 European Strategy Forum on Research and Innovation (ESFRI) research infrastructures that have been identified as of key importance for the development of science and innovation in Europe.
