The new Scientific Council members are: Professor Nils Christian Stenseth, Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis, University of Oslo; Professor Martin Stokhof, Faculty of Humanities, University of Amsterdam; and Professor Michel Wieviorka, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris.The ERC's press release provides short biographies. They replace Prof. Carlos Duarte, Dr. Daniel Estève and Prof. Alain Peyraube whose term has ended, and have been recruited following the work of an Identification Committee plus an open call.
