The helpdesk aims to raise awareness of IP and IPR issues and provides free-of-charge advice to participants in EU collaborative funding schemes.   The IPR helpdesk will focus on Horizon 2020 and COSME, the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and SMEs, as  it is  expected that the  increased emphasis in both programmes on the transformation of research outcomes into products and services will reinforce the need for professional intellectual property management.
