The new programme will fund projects, initiatives and awareness-raising campaigns in a number of public health priority areas – such as health inequality, social determinants of diseases, sustainable healthcare systems and cross-border health threats – in most cases with a 60 per cent reimbursement rate. Funding will also be provided for networking amongst health-related non-governmental and civil society organisations, and the calls for proposals will be launched via annual work programmes.
