Iridocorneal Endothelial (ICE) Syndrome is a rare eye unilateral condition in which the pupil becomes displaced and the iris atrophic, resulting in the severe appearance shown. The cause is unknown but one theory is that it is caused by viral infection.

Microspherophakia is a congenital anomaly in which the lens is smaller than usual with a spherical shape and is usually associated with weak lens zonules. This image was photographed on a slit lamp using retro-illumination showing the crystalline lens protruding through the pupil and zonules visible at the lens periphery. The original image has been duplicated and spiralled.
