Re-engineering of clinical research
"Re-engineering of clinical research, including clinical trials, in the field of vision sciences"
EuroVisionNet is a project funded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme and in association with the European Vision Institute. This project aims to link the research activities and policies of the European vision research community and to overcome the national fragmentation.
AIBILI in Coimbra, Portugal is coordinating the work-package "Re-engineering of clinical research, including clinical trials, in the field of vision sciences" and the proposed activities are the establishment of a Network of Translational Research Centres in Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences and define policies for integrated translational research.
I am writing to you to identify the interest of your institution to be part of this Network. I am sure that you will agree that this would be an extremely useful tool for a more concerted European Union effort in translational research in Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences.
The survey gathers information which will be used to generate a detailed report which I would be delighted to share with you.
The deadline for completion of this survey is October 1, 2009.
