Inherited Eye Disease

Professor Tony Moore and Dr Andrew Webster are two clinician scientists working in the field of inherited eye disease at the Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields Eye Hospital. They work closely with other scientific colleagues at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology.

The main focus of their research is in identifying the genetic mutations associated with inherited eye disease and in exploring the phenotype associated with these mutations. The long term aim is to develop novel therapies for retinal disease.
