Clinical studies and Genetics

The group undertakes start of the retinal imaging and phenotyping . This facilitates genotype-phenotype association studies.

The group is also involved in longitudinal studies of risk factors for retinal degenerative diseases

There is a highly active clinical trials testing a variety of therapeutic  interventions

Methodology

  • Retinal imaging, grading, phenotyping
  • Genetic association studies, stem cell therapy for AMD
  • Macular carotenoids

Scientific Cooperations

  • Cooperation 1
    EVI-Genoret
  • Cooperation 2
