Colour Vision and Retinal Imaging

The group has broad interests within the field of colour vision, normal and deficient (colour-vision deficiencies and achromatopsia); the functional implications of normal structural changes in the eye’s photoreceptor layer and how this relates to how we see colour, pattern and motion; the impact of the nerve-fibre layers structure in relation to sensitivity to light and dark.

Methodology

  • Adaptive Optics Retinal Imaging
  • Visual Psychophysics
