The Young Researcher Vision Camp

Following the great success of the previous Young Researcher Vision Camps in 2010, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019 the Young Researcher Vision Camp will come back in 2020. The Vision Camp 2020 will take place from June 26th until June 28th, 2020.

Again, we will meet at Castle Wildenstein, the unique location high over the banks of the river Danube. Consistent with the previous events, we will maintain the main features for the Vision Camp:

  • A broad spectrum of major areas of Basic and Applied Eye Research and Ophthalmology
  • Talks will be given exclusively by doctoral students (Early-stage Researchers)
  • Sessions will be chaired by post-docs (Experienced Researchers)
  • Educational sessions
  • Dedicated time for discussion and networking activities is mandatory
  • Participation fee is “all inclusive”, i.e. it includes full service around the clock (accommodation, all meals, barbecue, coffee-breaks, special events) EXCEPT TRAVEL
  • Free early morning exercises (don’t forget your sportswear!)
  • Poster session with attractive poster awards
  • Excursion in the surrounding area of castle Wildenstein (Ranger-Tour) and the "mystery tour" within the castle.
  • Further exciting events we are presently preparing for you. Be surprised!
