Charlie Rose Brain Series: Blindness.

Charlie Rose and his Nobel Laureate co-host Eric Kandel began a 12-episode series on the brain in late 2009. In 2011, the pair joined again to continue their exploration of the brain and the state of neuroscience in a second series. Charlie Rose is an American television interview show, with Charlie Rose as executive producer, executive editor, and host. The show is syndicated on PBS and is owned by Charlie Rose, LLC.

The participants of the round table talks are:  (1)  Eric Kandel , a professor of biochemistry and biophysics at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He was a recipient of the 2000 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his research on the physiological basis of memory storage in neurons. (2) Sanford Greenberg, Chairman of the Board of Governors of Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. (3) Jean Bennett, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. (4) Steven Schwartz of the Jules Stein Eye Institute. (5) Eberhart Zrenner from the University of Tuebingen, Institute for Ophthalmic Research and (6)  Carla Shatz of Stanford University.
